Manuscript Witness is a non-denominational research library. We examine Scripture through the manuscript evidence: the documents, readings, and transmission history that preserve the biblical text. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is central.
The library is built for long-form, careful reading. Studies distinguish manuscript evidence, textual variants, translation decisions, historical evidence, scholarly interpretation, and theological conclusions. Where the record is disputed, competing evidence can be presented without forcing a premature claim.
Published studies document their sources and identify uncertainty where the evidence is incomplete or contested.
